At BioBlocks’ facilities, highly skilled chemists routinely carry out syntheses of complex intermediates and final products. There is a wide range of chemical transformations in a broad variety of compound classes in their repertoire. Synthesis capabilities span from small-scale through kilo quantities, covering requirements for the entire spectrum of drug discovery and development. We offer our process development capabilities to further the goals of our partners’ preclinical projects.  Our chemists have access to state-of-the-art research and analytical equipment, and cheminformatics tools to ensure that solutions are found for each challenge.

Custom synthesis projects are quoted within 48 hours.  BioBlocks offers both fee-for-service and FTE-based pricing in its quotations.  Our standardized confidentiality and master service agreements are used routinely with our customers to reduce their administrative burden.

Process Development
 

BioBlocks’ process development chemists specialize in the design and optimization of synthetic routes for gram to multi-kilo quantities of compounds suitable for the transfer of laboratory procedures into the pilot plant.  We aim to develop scalable, safe and economical solutions.

Research and process chemists are co-located, contributing to a smooth hand-over in the development process.
